The Pocket Rocket V2 parawing delivers truly accessible performance for anyone. Inspired with input from our paragliding and foil kite departments, the efficient and very intuitive flying feel will also allow experienced parawingers to quickly take their existing riding skills to new levels.

DESIGNER’S INSIGHT

The sweet spot is bigger and less sensitive to handling errors. Riding upwind you have more tension to push against. When pointing downwind the stall point now sits considerably further back and stalls later.

Due to the reduced aspect-ratio (less wing span), inflation after redeployment is quicker, the steering is more nimble and the tips are also less prone to accidentally touching the water surface. Everything now feels much easier and cleaner.

The new front line material has already proved its performance on the PowerPack and also helps to speed-up packing and redeployment.

We’ve also added a 5.7m to the range, which increases the fun on really light wind days.

BRIDLE DESIGN

CENTRE FRONT LINE RISER:Bundling your frontlines via the centre riser — which excludes the wingtip lines — drastically reduces hand forces and makes reaching the canopy quicker and easier

NEW BRIDLE LINE MATERIAL:Developed specifically for parawing use, the new front lines feature a special coating for effortless, smooth and rash-free handling

REFINED LINE DIAMETER AND STIFFNESS:Helping to ensure fast, tangle-free packdowns — every time

V-SHRINK TABS ON THE TRAILING EDGE:Precisely positioned to allow for a reduced number of brake lines, while also distributing balanced tension along the entire trailing edge. Contributing to a less complex bridle layout makes pack down and redeployment easier, while the more grunty power produced by the rounded parachute shape captures a good blast of wind to bring you up on foil!

POWERPACK INSPIRED SIMPLICITY

+ A shorter bridle layout and new centre front line riser makes it much easier to pack the wing down quickly

+ The shorter bridle layout also makes the wing more reactive and easier to manoeuvre

+ Stiff bridle line material with a special coating allows for super-smooth hand sliding up the frontlines and tangle-free packing

+ The Pocket Rocket V2 bundles to a compact packdown size (although not as small as the PowerPack), and is ideal for use with the Stash Harness, Stash Belt and Mission Pack

+ New Bow Bar design for added control and comfort with shorter bar length than on the V1 (introduced on the PowerPack)

FREEHAND CONTROL WITH THE BOW BAR

As featured on our PowerPack parawing, the Bow Bar delivers comfort and control to complement the Pocket Rocket’s free-feeling performance.

There are two Bow Bar sizes in the Pocket Rocket V2 range; sizes 5.7, 5, 4.3, 3.6 and 3m are provided with a 36cm bar. Sizes 2.4m and 1.9m come with a 33cm bar, creating the perfect balance for maximum control and packing size

By eliminating the central leader line on the original Pocket Rocket bar, the Bow Bar design frees up hand positioning and opens the centre section of the bar. You can now focus more on your riding and less on your hands

The Bow line engages the central bridle line levels on a ratio which controls the canopy much more evenly through angle-of-attack changes. The power range has become more progressive through input to the bar’s angle and you’ll feel enhanced top-end and bottom-end power control
